Kindle
I enjoy reading on the Kindle. It's a great experience because it does only one thing and nothing else. There is a real commitment from the user when they pick up a Kindle: I am going to read. For the next 10 minutes/30 minutes/3 hours, I am a reader. People enjoy that tag, even if it's temporary, because it sets them apart from all those other distracted adults. It is an added benefit that reading is excellent for your brain and your mood.
What am I reading currently? Uketsu's Strange Pictures. Uketsu has made an original attempt at a well-known format (murder mysteries). Let me correct that. Uketsu has made a SUCCESSFUL, ORIGINAL attempt at a well-known format. This is very hard. On an interesting note, I am reading Strange Pictures on the Kindle for iPhone app, which is also...delightful. It's much nicer to open the Kindle app than Instagram, which was my intent in downloading it. Even if it's not an e-ink screen, it still does most of the stuff I outlined in paragraph 1.
